Queens Park

The Outwoods
The Outwoods is 110 acres of ancient woodland and is one of the oldest surviving woodland sites in Charnwood. The Outwoods consists of a variety of different routes and walks, including an easy access path with a bird feeding station. There is a 24 hour car park for visitors, a children’s natural play area and a café. Located 9 minutes from the hotel.
Charnwood museum
Charnwood Museum showcases a wide range of exhibits reflecting the history, geology, archaeology and industries of Charnwood and the surrounding area. Located 12 minutes from the hotel.
Swithland Reservoir
Swithland Resevoir is a lovely place for a walk, the route is relatively flat and suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels. Located 5 minutes from the hotel.
Cloud Trail
This lovely, flat, mostly traffic-free cycling route runs from Derby city centre to Worthington along canal paths and a former railway, now known as the Cloud Trail. As you follow the route you’ll enjoy peaceful riverside cycling and stunning views of the surrounding area. This trail is great for families and less-experienced cyclists. 28 minutes from the hotel.
Sock Man Statue
The Sockman is a bronze statue in Loughborough town centre. The sculpture depicts a man seated on a bollard with a sock on his left foot. The sock is symbolic of Loughborough’s hosiery industry, and the plinth is engraved with images of the town’s history. Well worth visiting this icon piece of art if you are in the area. Located 12 minutes from the hotel.

All Saints Church Loughborough
The church dates from the 14th century; the tower from the 15th century. It is located on a slight rise within the old town and is probably the site of a pre-Christian place of worship. Located 10 minutes from the hotel.
